Truwex deployment for SMB
Truwex is a server application operated by a web interface. Truwex SMB system requirements:
- Processor: Pentium 4, 3Ghz
- Memory: 1GB
- Disk space: up to 5GB, 1GB for installation
- Operation system: Windows Server 2003, Windows XP
Software required to run Truwex SMB:
- SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. Installed with Truwex automatically.
- .NET Framework 1.1 for Truwex. Installed with Truwex automatically.
- .NET Framework 2 for SQL Server 2005. Installed with Truwex automatically.
- Internet Explorer 7
- IIS
Truwex deployment for Enterprise
Truwex for Enterprise may be deployed on several servers to increase performance. Planning Truwex deployment, a server with the best performance should be used to host a SQL Server database. Database server configuration is recommended for Truwex Enterprise deployment on a single server.
Workstation for Truwex Agent, recommended hardware and software configuration:
- Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2,4 GHz or similar
- RAM: 1Gb
- HDD: 10 GB
- Windows XP Professional OS SP2 (recommended) or Windows Server 2003 Web Edition
- Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 2000
- Internet Explorer 6 or 7 (recommended option) on Windows 2003
- .NET Framework 1.1
Server for Truwex Server component, recommended hardware and software configuration:
- 1/2 Opteron or Xeon processors
- RAM: 1Gb or more
- HDD: 10 GB
- Windows Server 2003 Web (if SQL Server DB is installed on a separate server), Standard Edition, x64 editions*, Windows 2000 Server
- .NET Framework 1.1
Database server recommended hardware and software configuration:
- 1/2 high performance Opteron or Xeon processors
- RAM: 2Gb or more
- HDD: 100GB or more
- Windows Server 2003 Web (if SQL Server DB is installed on a separate server), Standard Edition, x64 editions*, Windows 2000 Server
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Workgroup, Standard (recommended), Enterprise, x64 editions*, or Microsoft SQL Server 2000
* Truwex works on Windows Server 2003 64-bit editions (versions for the 64-bit x86 compatible processors) in the 32-bit compatibility mode. Truwex connects to 64-bit SQL Server 2005 in the same way as to the 32-bit editions. Truwex does not work on Itanium processors.
