Truwex Web Page Check Tool Help

Profile tab

Truwex profiler lists all files consequently loaded by Internet Explorer during web page check. Each element of a web page has its profile and performance data in the row below.

If an object name has "..." in the end, it was truncated. To see the full data roll mouse pointer over it.

The list of web elements may change with scan settings. For example, choosing not loading images or not executing JavaScript in the job settings may reduce the number of files IE loads during rendering a webpage. The performance data (response time and download time) may not be valid for large web sites checked by many parallel parsers. Use single URL checker to profile them or limit the number of parallel connection in website setting to 1-2.

MIME type contains file type from the HTTP header.

Status code is an HTTP status code. The most popular variants are 200 = OK and 404 = file not found. Read about other statuses on W3C website: http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html

Response time (first byte) is a time in milliseconds (1/1000 of a second) from sending the HTTP request for an object and the web server first response. A webpage response time is the response time of the main document (listed on the first position).

Response times for some objects may be less than one of the first document. Such objects loaded from a different web server. It is quite common that during HTTP request a web server detects IP and resolves DNS with geographically closest IP address. Therefore some parts of a web page may be loaded from a web server with lower response time.

Download time is the time in milliseconds (1/1000 of a second) from sending the HTTP request for an object and the last server response. If response time equals download time, the object was returned for one server response.

Last modified time can be empty if this information is not available for the document.

Location. Local files are on the same server with the main document. External files are on another server.
