Map tab

Map tab shows a screenshot of a webpage with ability to highlight the detected issues and view its DHTML source code. Truwex shows only issues, which can be highlighted in on the page screenshot or in the code. For example, if something missing (privacy link, for instance), it can not be highlighted and therefore does not included into the map's view. The issues visible only in the source code are in grey color.

Click on the issue number to view it on map.

The checkbox Show arrow displays a red arrow, which helps to locate small objects.

The Truwex Map functionality features DHTML source code i.e. the HTML code after it was rendered by Internet Explorer.

Map is not generated during regular Truwex scans. The reason is DB space consumption and CPU are required to generate and transmit an image. It reduces scan speed. A user can generate a map at any time. Truwex will load a URL check tool with actual setting of a scan job and produce a map.
