Enterprise features
Truwex is designed to support web management in enterprises and web agencies. It features hierarchical website model and role-based user access control. Combined together they provide an effective way to assign users to their web sites and reports, and to prepare summary reports on many websites.
Website hierarchy
Truwex features multi-layer object hierarchy: client-company-region-country-website. Where:
- Client is a Truwex user account
The other layers of hierarchy serve as consolidation points for reporting
- Company is an entity name.
- Region is a region name (North America, EMEA etc.)
- Country is a website country
- Web site is a particular website name
Each website has its position in the hierarchy, therefore its results are routed to the correct place in reports. For example, if a website has country US, and the region North America, it will be included into the report on the North America region.
User access
Truwex assigns user rights via roles. User role defines what a user can do in the system.
- Owner can view the results of reports
- Developer can prepare scans
- Administrator has full access
Owner is a person responsible for a website in the enterprise. Truwex uses scopes to limit his/her access to other websites. For example, if an owner has scope Region North America, he/she can prepare reports for all NA countries such as the US and Canada. However she is not able to access data and prepare reports on the EMEA countries since the EMEA region is out her of scope.
Scalability and customization
Truwex is a scalable system. It can serve a mid-size business with 5 websites or a large corporation with thousand websites in many countries.
- Truwex serves thousands websites split into many regions and countries
- Truwex can be deployed on several servers to improve scanning speed
- Truwex supports many users through web interface
- Truwex easily accommodates new quality rules with seamless integration into reporting
Truwex is designed to be customizable for corporate needs
- All applicable quality rules have settings to tune them for a particular website
- A new custom rule can be designed and deployed quickly using regular expressions
- Truwex can be used from different departments and country offices of a corporation with no interference
- Truwex users can be assigned with roles and scopes which define accessible functionality and websites
